Join Us to Celebrate BCNC Turning 50
In 1969, a small group of dedicated community members came together to respond to the needs of immigrant and low-income families. What started as a summer program for 15 youth has grown to an agency in four locations in Boston and Quincy that serves more than 8,000 people each year! For 50 years, Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center (BCNC) has been empowering Asians and new immigrants to build healthy families, achieve greater economic success, and contribute to thriving communities.
Programs & Services
Child Care & Enrichment
BCNC supports working families through dual-language child care, as well as enriching and culturally competent after-school and summer programs.
Education & Workforce Initiatives
BCNC supports youth and adults to identify and follow an education or career pathway that leads to higher education, a stable career, and progress on the economics continuum.
Family & Community Engagement
BCNC aims to build high-functioning families, stable neighborhoods, and opportunities for creative expression to make a healthy and vibrant community.
BCNC is excited to announce that we have successfully completed the Build a Better Life Campaign!
Thanks to hundreds of donors, BCNC raised $3.5 million to invest in families and to promote the cultural vitality of the Asian community. Their generosity helped build the first arts and cultural center in Chinatown, enhance BCNC’s innovative services, and ensure organizational sustainability.
