Greetings from Our Leadership

On behalf of BCNC, we are thrilled to welcome you to the Lantern Festival Gala 2026! We are deeply grateful for your partnership and generosity. Your support makes it possible for BCNC to strengthen families, uplift Asian immigrant voices, and respond to the growing needs of our communities across Greater Boston.

For more than 50 years, BCNC has served Asian and new immigrants with culturally responsive education, workforce, and family support services. As demand continues to rise, especially in the South Shore, your support ensures that individuals and families have access to the resources they need to thrive in school, work, and life.

Funds raised through this year’s Lantern Festival Gala will advance impact in three critical areas:

Preparing Immigrant Adults and Youth for the Workforce

Your support will empower 400 adults to secure family‑sustaining wages by developing  professional skills and accessing career pathways. It will also help 265 youth build leadership,  academic success, and higher education and career readiness to shape confident futures.

Strengthening the Mental Health of Families

Your generosity supports the launch of BCNC’s mental health clinic and sustains culturally and  linguistically responsive counseling, support groups, and wellness workshops for Chinese‑speaking families to promote healing, resilience, and long‑term well‑being.

Provide High-Quality Care for Children

Your support expands access to high‑quality, culturally appropriate early education for working immigrant families while improving learning outcomes, closing opportunity gaps, and strengthening social‑emotional development for young children.

The Lantern Festival Gala reflects our belief that when immigrants have the resources and supports to thrive, all of society benefits. Together, we are building pathways to opportunity and a more equitable future for all.

Thank you for your partnership, generosity, and commitment to BCNC’s mission.
