Bring your passion, abilities, and invaluable support to our work. Whether mentoring youth, assisting in the classrooms, providing administrative support, or sharing your skills, you can make a lasting impact on the individuals and families we serve.

Volunteer at BCNC to give back to community, make meaningful connections, and learn from diverse experiences. Explore the areas we need volunteers below.

  • Support Adults in Learning English and Preparing for Jobs

    • Tutor immigrant students one-on-one, assist in classrooms and conversation classes or prepare students for interviews. Opportunities are remote or on-site and training is available.

  • Mentor Youth in Their College and Post-Secondary Journey

    • Guide high school juniors and seniors as they apply for college or post-secondary education. Provide 1-on-1 mentorship with regular meetings. Mentors must have at least a bachelor’s degree. 

  • Enrich the Lives of Children Through Tutoring and Play

    • Build relationships with school-aged children by tutoring and leading play and art activities at our after school and summer program 

  • Foster Early Learning and Growth in Preschoolers

    • Engage preschool-aged children through reading, activities, and organizing educational materials. Help translate materials into Chinese as needed. Volunteers must be at least 16 years old.
