Celebrated Achievements of Adult Education Students
On June 30th, students, volunteers, staff, and community members gathered for the 2022 Adult Education End of Year Celebration to congratulate 265 adult students for their achievements. The event included student musical performances, dance, poetry recitations, and visual art. Level 4 student James from Haiti was an engaging emcee for the night of celebration.
The student speakers were the highlights of the night. Students from Level 1 to Level 4, representing various backgrounds including Venezuelan, Dominican, Korean, and Chinese, shared advice and congratulations.
One student, Yadi, shared, “I am very proud to be part of BCNC, my level of English has improved to the point that I became an American Citizen. Learning English has allowed me to achieve my goals, meet new friends, and understand my favorite programs. I appreciate the dedication of each teacher and advisors who have given their time to the teaching of all of us who are part of BCNC.”
Congratulations to the BCNC Adult Education Class of 2022!
