Congratulations to Our Graduates of Customer Service Training

In December, we celebrated our graduates of the fall cycle of ESOL for Customer Service Training Program. Each student gave a speech and shared in their own words how BCNC has impacted them:

“I learned so many things in the class, from learning about ten industry sectors and hearing different career stories. It was helpful for me to choose my interests and work on them.” - Hairong

“The past 12 weeks have taught me many valuable lessons. The biggest of which was that I finally have my first certificate, by the way, this is the first certificate in my life in the U.S. I believe it will encourage me to keep learning. My goal is to get an associate’s degree.” - Dongru

“I am a new immigrant in the US, and I was confused about what to do. Thanks to my teacher Brianna, I learned more customer service skills and job searching skills. Thanks to the career counselor, Julia, she guided me to know that I have many skills and how I can get ready to apply for a job interview.” - Meici

BCNC’s ESOL for Customer Service Training Program is a free training for Boston residents who are intermediate English language learners seeking full-time entry-level employment in the customer service industry. This program is funded by the City of Boston Mayor’s Office of Workforce Development, and is a SNAP Path to Work program.
