AAPI Empowerment Project
The Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Empowerment Project is a coalition of five organizations that increases awareness of problem gambling prevention and improves holistic well-being in the AAPI community by providing alternative social recreational activities.
The AAPI Empowerment Project is a collaboration between Asian serving organizations in the Greater Boston Area: BCNC, Chinese Culture Connection, Civic Education Alliance, Greater Malden Asian American Community Coalition, and Southeast Asian Coalition.
The Project provide various social recreational activities at locations in Boston, Malden, the South Shore, and Worcester. The recreational activities at locations vary and may include:
- Resident meet-ups and social days
- Dancing
- Ping Pong and Board Games
- Social Clubs
- Karaoke Nights
- Youth Programs
