Joann Yung (she/her)

Joann Yung joined BCNC in 2012 and became the Chief Development Officer in 2019. She leads efforts to secure vital funding and resources, overseeing institutional and individual giving, marketing, and strategic planning to expand BCNC’s reach.

Before BCNC, Joann held development and leadership roles at both community-based and national organizations. She has been instrumental in engaging partners, funders, and volunteers, securing funding, and implementing communication strategies to achieve BCNC’s mission of serving immigrant families.

Joann holds a BA in East Asian Studies from the College of William & Mary, a Certificate in Management of Community Organizations from Tufts University, and an MBA from the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University.
