Boston's Chinatown hosts the biggest Lunar New Year parade in New England with troupes of colorful lion dance dancers ringing in the Year of the Dog. Huddle indoors at BCNC’s new Pao Arts Center in Chinatown and have your creative and artistic impulses flourish during the New Year!

Drop in for free family-friendly activities from 11:00am-3:00pm including lantern making, Chinese macrame, story writing, music and song-sharing, and exhibitions tours. Drop-in Lion Dance workshops run at 12:00, 12:30, and 1:00 pm.

Learn how to make dumplings, a traditional new year dish. Click here to register for this fee-based class on Feb. 25, 11:00 am.

Be sure to catch other Chinatown Lunar New Year activities such as the 2018 Chinatown Lion Dance Parade  and the Chinatown Main Street Cultural Village.
