For more than 50 years, BCNC has been providing new immigrants, especially Asians, with the support and resources they need to thrive in the United States.  With deep roots in Boston’s Chinatown neighborhood, BCNC now serves people from three locations in Greater Boston. Its holistic, family-centered programs reach 13,000 children, youth, and adults each year, setting them up for success in school, work, and life. BCNC also builds vibrant communities through Pao Arts Center, along with its collaborations and research.

Bạn sẽ làm gì

The Family Clinician is a member of the BCNC Family Services team. Family Services strengthens immigrant familiesto overcome challenging issues through mental health support services, case management, educational workshops, and counseling.  You will provide culturally competent and linguistically accessible behavioral and mental health support services and help Chinese-speaking immigrant families adjust to the United States. You will report directly to the Director of Family Services.

Trong vai trò này, bạn sẽ:

• Lên lịch thăm nhà thường xuyên với gia đình (tùy theo cường độ, 1-2 lần mỗi tuần)
• Đánh giá, phát triển, thẩm định và theo dõi các mục tiêu điều trị
• Hoàn thành hồ sơ tiếp nhận ban đầu, tóm tắt diễn giải và các mẫu đơn đồng ý cần thiết
• Giao tiếp với các nhà cung cấp liên quan để phối hợp các dịch vụ điều trị phù hợp
• Document and submit progress summaries to DCF on a monthly basis
• Gửi email cho DCF để cập nhật ngắn gọn về tiến độ của gia đình hai tuần một lần
• Kiểm tra qua điện thoại 15 phút hàng tuần với giám sát viên BCNC
• Khả năng xử lý ít nhất một vụ án mỗi năm khi được giao

Những gì chúng tôi tìm kiếm

• Bằng thạc sĩ Công tác xã hội, Tư vấn sức khỏe tâm thần hoặc lĩnh vực liên quan
• Knowledge of legal, child protection (Department of Children and Families), health and mental
  health, and social service systems
• Giấy phép lái xe hợp lệ, có phương tiện cá nhân và hồ sơ lái xe an toàn
• Khả năng thiết lập mối quan hệ trị liệu hiệu quả
• Kỹ năng giao tiếp tuyệt vời, cả nói và viết
• Kỹ năng tổ chức và quản lý thời gian
• Năng lực làm việc chuyên nghiệp trong việc viết, đọc và nói tiếng Quảng Đông hoặc tiếng Quan Thoại
  Tiếng Trung là bắt buộc

Điều kiện làm việc

• Phải có thể làm việc theo lịch trình linh hoạt và có thể phải đi công tác địa phương trong ngày làm việc
• This position involves performing essential job functions in typical work environments, including but not limited to offices, classrooms, or community settings. Duties may require routine movement such as walking, standing, and bending. Depending on the role, responsibilities may also include the ability to move items weighing up to 25–50 pounds, and the use of computer equipment and effective communication. All essential functions can be performed with or without reasonable accommodations
