Han Bertrand (he/him)

Han Bertrand joined BCNC as Clinical Director in 2025 to lead a team of clinicians in providing trauma-informed and culturally responsive mental health care to Asian American and immigrants. He oversees clinical operations, supervises mental health services, and works to strengthen BCNC’s capacity to meet the growing mental health needs of the community.

Before joining BCNC, Han maintained a private psychotherapy practice specializing in long-term treatment for attachment trauma. His approach centers on treating the whole person, creating a safe space for clients to explore their stories, and fostering healing, resilience, and self-compassion. He is committed to providing inclusive and affirming care.

Han is a bilingual Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts. He earned a Master of Social Work and a Master of Theological Studies from Boston College and completed advanced post-graduate clinical training in psychodynamic therapy at the Danielsen Institute at Boston University and the Institute for the Psychoanalytic Study of Subjectivity.
