Intern
Work alongside our dedicated team to support the diverse needs of the Asian and immigrant community. Interns receive mentorship and training by our experienced staff as well as hands-on experience working at a leading community-based organization. Internships typically last for one semester, with opportunities to extend based on individual goals and project needs.
Interns will:
- Be a part of a department team.
- Develop valuable skills in community engagement, program development, and nonprofit management.
- Collaborate across departments and engage with various community services.
- Receive guidance and mentorship from professionals in social work, education, youth development, or non-profit management.
Undergraduate, graduate, and PhD-level students are invited to apply for the opportunity to work with children, youth, and families in one of these two tracks:
General Internship
This track is ideal for students studying fields such as child development, education, or social work.
Clinical Internship
If you are a student pursuing clinical training in programs like clinical social work, counseling psychology, mental health counseling, expressive arts therapy, or related programs, this track is for you. Clinical interns are placed in Family Services where they receive dedicated supervision and hands-on experience essential for clinical development.
