Theory of Change
We work to help families thrive and to build equitable and stronger communities. For individuals, we promote healthy development in children, youth, and adults, prepare participants for academic and career success, and empower individuals in civic engagement. For families, we support successful acculturation, strengthen parenting practices, and foster nurturing relationships. Our approach involves providing linguistically and culturally appropriate services to develop collective efficacy and build community capacity. Outcomes we aim to achieve are:
- Strengthening knowledge of child and adolescent development;
- Promoting social, cognitive and emotional competence;
- Providing concrete support in times of need; and
- Increasing social connections and community resilience.
