1CAC Campaign | 60 Days | $50,000
If we raise $50,000 in 60 days (by January 6), BCNC will unlock a matching gift from MassDevelopment to support the first and only arts center in Chinatown, the One Chinatown Arts Center (1CAC)! 1CAC will be a valuable space for community members and artists to convene to preserve and celebrate the cultural and creative assets of our community.
As the largest social service provider for Asian families in the Greater Boston area, Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center (BCNC) responds to community needs by delivering holistic, family-centered, and culturally competent programs to over 2,000 children, youth, and adults each year.
Programs & Services
Child Care & Enrichment
BCNC supports working families through dual-language child care, as well as enriching and culturally competent after-school and summer programs.
Education & Workforce Initiatives
BCNC supports youth and adults to identify and follow an education or career pathway that leads to higher education, a stable career, and progress on the economics continuum.
Family & Community Engagement
BCNC's family centered service model recognized that effective organizations do not merely serve participants in individual programs; they serve participants knowing they are part of a larger family, a family with multifaceted needs.
When Chi Wan Chow emigrated from Myanmar sixteen years ago, she was illiterate in Chinese and English. Now she has become a leader in the community. Watch this video and see how BCNC has impacted her life.
