Through visual arts and music classes, BCNC engages children in creative expression to improve children's academic skills, social-emotional development, and language development. Through engaging literacy activities and projects, BCNC supports children to become critical thinkers with strong reading and writing skills, as well as reflective citizens that can come to a greater understanding of themselves and the world around them.
Your child will be assigned to a group based on age. The Red Oak Program is licensed by MA Department of Early Education and Care and adheres to state regulations of health and safety. Click here for the program’s infectious disease outbreak plan.
Who: Children ages 5 - 13 years old
When: Monday – Friday, 3:50 pm to 6:45 pm | Non School Days: 8:30 am to 6:00 pm
Where: BCNC, 38 Ash Street, Boston
What: Academic Support, Arts Enrichment Classes, Literacy Activities, Outdoor Activities. Breakfast, lunch, and a snack are provided.
Cost: School days: Full Fee $132.50/week; Subsidized Slots based on sliding fee scale.
Non School Days: Full Fee $60/day; Subsidized Slots based on sliding fee scale.
