Acorn Center for Early Education & Care provides working families full-day, dual language, Chinese and English, early education and care for children ages 15 months to 6 years. The center is licensed by the state of Massachusetts and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). *Boston Only.


We are proud to announce that BCNC will be one of the BPS Pre-K classrooms starting September 2019, building off of the success of our national accredited Acorn Center for Early Education and Care.

Program Highlights

  • NAEYC accredited dual language (Chinese/English) program housed in a green building with two playgrounds

  • Nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snack provided daily according to Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) guidelines

  • Free high-quality education and care for 15 months to 5 year old children who reside in Boston

  • Experienced teachers with early education certification

  • Year-round programming Monday to Friday 7:30AM—5:30PM, with optional before and after school care

  • Conveniently located next to Tufts Medical Center

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a Boston resident

  • Child must turn 4 by September 1, 2019
