BCNC Family Services The Strengthening Families Program (SFP) is an evidence-based training program that focuses on parenting skills, children’s life skills, and family life skills. Parents and children will participate in the program, separately and together. Outcomes have shown SFP to significantly reduce problem behaviors, delinquency, and alcohol and drug abuse in children and to improve social competencies and school performance. As parents strengthen bonds with their children and learn more effective parenting skills, child maltreatment also decreases.
Date: February 12, 2024 to April 29, 2024; every Monday (10) sessions (No class on 2/19 & 4/15)
Time: 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm
Location: 1458 Hancock Street #306, Quincy, MA 02169
Target: children age 3-5 years old and their parents
Language: English & Chinese (children's group); Mandarin (parents' group)
Fee: Free, childcare and dinner will be provided
Note: Participate and attend at least 8 sessions for a $20 gift card; full attendance & participation for a $30 gift card

BCNC 家庭服務部的【快樂家庭】是一個通過驗證的培訓課程，課程專注於育兒技巧、孩子的生活技巧及家庭生活技巧。在課程活動中，家長和小孩會有共同參與和分開參與的機會，課程的設計專門針對在生活上有較大需要的家庭。有關報告指出，當家庭參加完課程後，孩子的問題行為以及濫用酒精、藥物的可能會大大減低，報告同時指出孩子的社交能力和學習成績有所提升。通過課程，父母跟孩子的關係變得更加親密和正面，而父母也學到更多有效的育兒技巧。
日期：2024年2月12號至4月29號; 每週一(共十堂課, 2月19 和 4月15 停課)
時間：下午四點半至六點半
地點：1458 Hancock Street #306, Quincy, MA 02169
服務對象：三到五歲孩童與他們的家長
語言：兒童小組(英語、中文) 、家長小組(普通話）
費用：免費, 提供晚餐與托兒服務
