About the Artist: David Ma brings a mix of fun, style, and character to his film making. David’s unique approach to food, is due in large part to his unique background. He began his culinary career as a food stylist, with an eye for finding the beauty in all foods—from high-end dishes to a grilled cheese. Before entering the food world, he also worked as an agency creative at Droga5, TBWA & 360i, which taught him the importance of both a great concept and the execution of that idea. David aims to create films as fun as they are drool-worthy. His latest viral project, Food Films, was an original series that transformed dull cooking videos into the styles of iconic directors like Wes Anderson, Michael Bay, Quentin Tarantino and Alfonso Cuaron. The project received over 10 million views on Facebook and YouTube. @davidma
