Learn to make everyone’s favorite comfort food: dumplings! Local resident and BCNC parent, YuYan Su, will lead a step-by-step process of creating these savory treats: making the filling, folding the wrappers, and various methods for cooking the dumplings. Participants will enjoy their creations together.
Sticky Rice Dumplings | November 18 | 11:00am - 12:30pm
Learn to make a portable dim-sum favorite that is bound, cooked, and eaten in a biodegradable bamboo wrapper. Local resident and BCNC parent, PoChun Chow, will guide you through a step-by-step process of assembling these seemingly complicated bundles.
Fee: $50 for both workshops | $30 for a single workshop. The fee is non-refundable unless the class is cancelled by BCNC. Materials will be provided.
Directions: The Pao Arts Center is located in the One Greenway building, 99 Kneeland Street. For GPS driving directions, use 66 Hudson Street, Boston, MA 02111. From Hudson Street, walk up the stairs and across the deck to the 99 Albany Street entrance. The public parking garage entrance is on Hudson Street. The Pao Arts Center is accessible by the MBTA green, red, and orange lines.
