Opening Reception: Digital Stories from the Asian American Studies at UMass Boston

Join us for the opening reception and screening.  

This exhibition features original digital stories co-produced by UMass Boston students and the Digital Storytelling in Asian American Studies Team led by Dr. Shirley Tang. These digital stories reveal fresh dimensions of Asian American migration stories, transnational family histories, and a broad range of critical community issues. On display are works co-produced by: Ky-Viet Dang, Darlene Dao, Nia Duong, Parmita Gurung, Thuan Hien, Henry Ho, Pratna Kem, Madeline Le, Hung An Nguyen, Thomas Nguyen, José Gabriel Soto, Ammany Ty, Kim Soun Ty, Joyce Wu, and Ally Yee.

Directions: The Pao Arts Center is located in the One Greenway building, 99 Kneeland Street. For GPS driving directions, use 66 Hudson Street, Boston, MA 02111. From Hudson Street, walk up the stairs and across the deck to the 99 Albany Street entrance. The public parking garage entrance is on Hudson Street. The Pao Arts Center is accessible by the MBTA green, red, and orange lines.
