Comcast Donates Laptops to Adult Students

Special thanks to Comcast for donating 30 new Chromebooks to our adult students who are learning English and workforce skills. Since the COVID-19 outbreak, BCNC continued all its programs virtually. Many students did not own laptops and were using their phones to participate in the virtual classes and complete assignments.  Through our partnership, Comcast has been supporting immigrant families with affordable, high-speed Internet, hosting workshops about internet safety for parents and caregivers, and providing laptops. Reliable access to the internet and technology helps families access opportunities online, which is more important than ever as we stay physically distant.
