BCNC Portraits: Emerald, Bamboo Circle Volunteer

Emerald Wong, BCNC volunteer, was nominated as the 2021 Community Spirit Volunteer of the Year by Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan for her outstanding community service with BCNC.

Since high school, Emerald has been volunteering with BCNC. She assisted with citizenship class for adult immigrants and continues to volunteer with BCNC’s young professionals network, Bamboo Circle. In April, she was honored at a virtual ceremony.

Emerald says, “This award really belongs to all of us for the great work we've done for our community.”
