Read MoreAs part of BCNC’s 50th Anniversary, we hosted a reunion for the Youth Center and Recreation programs on Saturday, August 3rd, 2019. Former participants, staff, and volunteers gathered at the Josiah Quincy School gym for a friendly volleyball tournament. Afterward, everyone made their way to the Youth Center lounge for socializing! Between games of foosball and In a Pickle, attendees shared memories over snacks and old photographs. Jeremy Mei, a former youth participant, recalls his favorite memories of BCNC were “coming in after school to hang out, participating in guy’s club, cooking club, digital connector, and playing computer games after 5pm.”
Since 1969, Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center (BCNC) has been a vital presence in Greater Boston and beyond, empowering Asians and new immigrants to build healthy families, achieve greater economic success, and contribute to thriving communities.
